Haley Dietz is a passionate educator, recording artist, and performer. Haley began studying the violin at age 5 after seeing another little girl playing violin on Sesame Street. Haley studied violin performance at the University of Maryland and University of Texas. She held positions with Austin Soundwaves and Westlake High School and currently maintains her own private studio. As a performer Haley has played with Austin Unconducted, Austin Opera, and Austin Symphony. You can also find Haley around town collaborating with local Austin bands and artists both on stage and in studio recording projects. Haley strives to create a learning environment that is both structured and engaging and believes that personal betterment is equally as important as musical achievement. Haley’s ultimate goal in her teaching is to instill a lifelong love of music in her students.

Outside of music you can find Haley hiking with her two dogs, climbing at Crux or on the Greenbelt, and enjoying a cup of coffee and a book at First Light Books.
